Addastone Resin is a coloured, two-part surface dressing adhesive designed to bind natural aggregates. It is supplied in a variety of colours to blend easily with the chosen aggregate. The finished surface is attractive, safe, low maintenance, and hard wearing.

What Does it Look Like?

Natural loose stone, but bonded. It is designed to give the appearance of a natural loose aggregate rather than a perfectly uniform finish.

Choice of Aggregate

Your choice of aggregate is very important and the following points are to be considered:

  • What colour(s) do you require?
  • Do you need a minimum hardness or polished stone value (PSV)?
  • Do you require a rounded or textured surface?
  • Do you require an anti-skid surface?

What Colour is the Resin?

Addastone resin is supplied in a range of colours to blend with the aggregate chosen. Our standard stock colours are buff, chocale brown, green, black and pink. Other colours are available on request.

How Long Will it Last?

This will depend on your particular project and substrate. Examples of the anticipated life expectancy prior to applying a second application are as follows:

  • Footpaths using a 2-5mm Golden Pea Gravel: 8-15 years
  • Domestic drives using 1-3mm Chinese Bauxite: 8-15 years
  • Roads used heavily: 5-8 years
